About me, David

IMG_6093.HEIC

Based in Battersea, south west London, I hold the Association of Master Upholsterers and Soft Furnishers (AMUSF) qualification in traditional and modern upholstery.

I qualified at the School of Art, Architecture and Design at London Metropolitan University, working with some of the most accomplished professional upholsterers in the business.

Whether it's a footstool or chaise,  a simple recover or full rebuild,  my aim is to work with every customer, regardless of their budget, to ensure their total satisfaction.   I'm not happy unless you are...

What do my customers say...

"These chairs are absolutely gorgeous and have been reupholstered beautifully, and I can't thank David enough.

I was a bit nervous about purchasing such large items of furniture online without having seen them first, but I needn't have worried.

Dave worked with me to ensure I got the best price for delivery, and made everything so easy. They arrived far sooner than I thought they would, and are completely perfect, as they are just what I was wanting! The colours are bright and vibrant, and they are both very comfortable, so I will definitely be ordering again.

10/10 - thank you so much!"

"We could not be more pleased with the way our chaise turned out. It looks fantastic and David's quote was very competitive. We will certainly be using David again and have no hesitation in recommending him."

" David, thanks for doing such a great job on our chairs, and the footstools were just a bonus.  I'll be looking out for further projects to send your way"

Emma Lazarus (1849-1887)

Three traditionally upholstered, Victorian chairs supplied to the American Jewish Historical Society in New York City.

The chairs were used for an exhibition to recreate the brownstone sitting room of poet Emma Lazarus, whose work "The New Colossus"is inscribed on the Statue of Liberty.
